2014 All-West Coast Conference Team Honorable Mention

2014 SEASON (Senior): 
Key component to the Dons' resurgence in 2014... played and started in 18 games in goal... held a 1.07 GAA, third best in the WCC... compiled five solo shutouts and was part of six overall... picked up a career-high 10 saves against San Diego (Nov. 9)... named an All-WCC Honorable Mention.

2013 SEASON (Junior): Started nine games for the Dons... allowed one or fewer goals five times including three shutouts... led West Coast Conference in saves per game at 5.89.

PRIOR TO USF: Hauser spent two seasons at Cal Poly... earned Big West Conference Player of the Week honors after recording career-high eight saves during 1-0 victory at No. 7 UC Irvine (Sept. 28, 2011) … only other appearance came during a 45-minute stint against Denver (Sept. 25) … during two total appearances, posted a 0.67 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

PREP/CLUB CAREER: Hauser was a three-year letter winner finished as an All-Sierra League honoree during senior season at LaVerne High School (LaVerne, Calif.) … posted a career-low 0.85 goals against average during sophomore campaign … member of Irvine Strikes Academy club program … also a three-year letter winner for school’s championship water polo program.

PERSONAL: Son of John and Laurel Hauser … has one brother, John, and one sister, Alex (2008-2011), a four-year letter winner and senior middle blocker for the UC Irvine volleyball program … majoring in Kinesiology … identifies former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as his positional inspirations … Chase Andrew Hauser was born on Aug. 16, 1993 in Chino Hills, CA.
