2017 (RS JUNIOR): Started in all 14 of his appearances on the year, splitting time between the Friday and Saturday slots in the rotation… posted a 4.63 ERA with a 4-4 record… third on the team with 51 strikeouts… led the team with 79 2/3 innings pitched… threw seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits and striking out five in a no-decision at Hawaii on Feb. 23… scattered four hits over another seven shutout innings in a win over Portland on Apr. 13… tallied a season-high seven strikeouts at No. 18 Coastal Carolina on Mar. 3… notched a total of eight quality starts on the year… picked up his first win of the season by allowing just one earned run over six innings against Northern Colorado on Feb. 18… earned the win on Senior Day over Pacific with 5 1/3 innings where he scattered six hits and allowed two runs (one earned) while striking out four… shared the team’s Greg Moore Inspirational Award with Aaron Ping, which is given to the player who exudes excellence in academics, mentality, work ethic and life.
2016 SUMMER:Â Played with the Corvallis Knights in the West Coast League... went 1-0 with a 2.01 ERA in eight starts... made 10 appearances overall... struck out 41 in 35.2 innings pitched.Â
2016 (RS SOPHOMORE): Made 13 appearances overall, starting five games... posted a record of 1-4 with a 13.02 ERA... struck out 15 batters in 18.2 innings... earned his first win of the year with 2.1 scoreless innings in relief against San Jose State (Apr. 19)... had his longest outing of the year in a start vs. Hawaii (Feb. 28) when he threw three innings, allowing three runs on four hits with two walks and two strikeouts, earning a no-decision... took the loss in his first start of the season at UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 21), throwing 2.2 innings where he allowed two runs on four hits while walking three and striking out two... his longest relief outing was 2.1 innings vs. San Jose State (Apr. 19)... got the start in the first game played at the newly renovated Benedetti Diamond, but lost to New Mexico (Apr. 13), throwing just one-third of an inning where he allowed four runs (three earned) on two hits with a walk and a strikeout... recorded a season-high three strikeouts at UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 21) and at Nevada (May 10).  Â

2014 SUMMER:Â Played for the Bellingham Bells and helped the team win the West Coast League championship.
2014 (FRESHMAN):Â Made 11 appearances with 10 starts his freshman season...served as the Sunday starter... picked up his first win when he went eight shutout innings against Tulane... allowed two hits and had a career-high seven strikeouts against Tulane... threw eight innings, allowing one earned run on three hits against California... made starts against Stanford, Kansas State, San Diego and UC Santa Barbara... threw 61.1 innings while allowing 56 hits.
HIGH SCHOOL:Â Graduated from Burlingame High School in 2013... drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 36th round of the 2013 MLB Draft... posted a 12-2 career record with a 1.54 ERA in two varsity seasons... went 5-2 as a senior with a 1.56 ERA in 49.1 innings pitched and 70 strikeouts... tossed 73.2 innings as a junior, while registering 90 strikeouts en route to a 7-0 record and four shutouts... also hit .292 with three home runs, 14 doubles and 32 RBI over his career... played his freshman year at Junipero Serra High School before transferring to Burlingame High School.
