2012 SEASON: Played in 19 games and started in two behind the plate... hit .143 (3-for-21) with one run scored and one RBI... fielded perfect 1.000 at catcher with 51 put outs and six assists... first collegiate hit was a pinch-hit single against Missouri (2/26)... first collegiate RBI came in a 1-for-2 day against Cal Poly (3/4).

PREP CAREER: Two sport athlete (football and baseball)... Named to Dream Team in both football and baseball. Voted league MVP in football... Named First-Team All-League in baseball for three consecutive years... Made Honor Roll every year.

PERSONAL: Born in June of 1992 in Long Beach, CA... Parents are Tim and Kaylene Schultz... Plans to be a professional baseball player or a fireman... Lists biggest sports thrill as throwing someone out at second base... Goal for the season is to do whatever he can to help the team win... Chose USF because fo the coaching staff and the fellow players on the team... Most impressive person he has ever met is his father, Tim... His #15 has been his first choice since kindergarten. Favorite movies are The Hangover and Caddyshack... Favorite artist is Jack Johnson... Favorite food is orange chicken.
