Drew Shiller played baseball and basketball for the Dons, and had played three sports at Burlingame High School: football, basketball and baseball. He attended USF from 2005 to 2006, and transferred to Stanford University where he finished his Bachelors in Communication in 2009, and a Masters in 2010. At Stanford, he was Co-captain of basketball team during the 2009-2010 season, and 2009-2010 Pac-10 All-Academic First Team selection. He currently works in Real Estate in Walnut Creek, CA.

He earned First-Team All-League honors in football and baseball, as well as the Peninsula Athletic League's Player of the Year award in basketball last season. Classmates say he's even better at soccer.

Late Monday night, Shiller verbally committed to USF, where he'll play basketball on scholarship and walk on to the baseball team. He mulled offers to play football at Ivy League schools and at least partial basketball scholarship offers from just about everywhere in the Bay Area.

"It's a huge relief," he said. "I took a couple of visits to USF, and I really liked the campus, the new coaching staff and the recruiting class. My dad (is an alum), and it all just makes sense (SFGate)."
