Biography: Smith played baseball for your years on the Hilltop. He came to USF from Las Vegas where he played three years of varsity baseball for the Bonanza Bengals, his batting average reached .486 his senior year. In his debut season with the Green and Gold, he saw action in 43 games with 26 starts. Smith emerged as the Dons starting second baseman as a sophomore. As a junior in 2005, he hit .246 with 26 RBIs. In his final season on the Hilltop, Smith was a key part of the 2006 West Coast Conference Championship team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament. He hit .322 as a senior with 28 runs scored and 14 RBIs.Â

Favorite USF Memories: "Winning the first West Coast Conference Championship in school history in 2006, and having the opportunity to play in an NCAA regional are great memories I have from my time at USF."
The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "We had an outstanding coaching staff with Coach G, Naks, and Greg Moore, who are leaders of the highest caliber on the field, but even more so in life. I also remember the brotherhood with my teammates, as we went from a barely .500 team, to conference champs over my four years with the team."
