Career Highlights: Four-year letter winner for Women's Golf; 2018 Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key Recipient; 2018 Charles Harney Award (highest GPA in the Athletic Department); 2018 All-Academic Team WCC Conference; 2018 WGCA All-Scholastic team; 2018 USF Dean's Medal of Excellence Nominee; 2014-2018 Dean's Honor Roll 

Biography: Played in a career-best seven events in her senior campaign, and posted a career-best 76.4 stroke average in her 20 rounds. Her best finish as a senior came at the Sacramento State Invitational where she finished tied for 11th with a 8-over 224. During her junior season Liu payed in four events and finished with a stroke average of 79.2. She replaced Vanessa Ha atop the lineup at the Peg Barnard Invitational at Stanford and tied for 53rd at 17-over 159 (78-81). In 2015-16 as a sophomore she played in two events on the year. Liu played in just one event in her first season on the Hilltop and tied for 65th (78-82-77-237) at the Bay Area Intercollegiate held at the Meadow Club.

Why Liu Chose USF: "Due to the quality of education, small class sizes, and having the best practice facilities of all golf teams in the United States."

Favorite USF Memories: "I loved being on the women's golf team at USF. I made some amazing friends who I still talk with to this day. Grinding at 6:30 am workouts till late night practice sessions, I learned so much during my time on the golf team."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "Learning, growing, and pushing myself past my limits. It has served me well post-graduation."

 Did You Know?: Liu has a second degree black belt in karate. 

Life After USF: Since graduating in 2018, Liu has held the positions of Business Analyst and Web Marketing Strategist for several different companies. In 2020, she completed Officer Training School and is currently a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Liu is still connected to golf as she volunteers for the nearby university’s collegiate golf team and coordinates base events. She is currently working on her MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics.
