Biography: DeGeer played soccer for four years on the Hilltop. He was known as a tireless, athletic midfielder with excellent ball and passing skills and scoring touch. He had an excellent senior season in 2007, and was named a first-team All West Coast Conference Selection. In 2006, he appeared in 12 games starting four; the Dons were 9-2-1 in those contests when DeGeer was in the starting line-up. He earned an assist on Aaron Chandler's game winner at Cal State Northridge on September 15th. He played in 14 games in 2005, recording two assists, one on Matt Languis' game winner vs. San Jose State.

Life After USF: After he graduated, DeGeer went into coaching. He was the Director of Soccer Operations on the Hilltop in 2012, then became the Men's Assistant Soccer Coach at San Francisco State for two seasons. He earned his Master's of Art in Kinesiology from Fresno Pacific University (2015). Coach DeGeer is currently serving his fourth year as the San Jose Earthquakes Academy head coach.
