Career Years: 2002-2005

A four-time letter winner for the Dons women’s soccer team, was a strong defensive pretense on the back line. Chose USF because it is in the heart of San Francisco. When asked about the best thing about being a student-athlete was she said, “the experiences, in season traveling and the amazing teammates."

GENERAL CAPSULE - Strong defensive presence on the back line... great tactical awareness of the game... athletic, fast and strong... will play a big role in leading the defense this year.

2003 SEASON - Was in the starting line up for three of the 13 games she played this season... recorded her first point her career assisting on Shuree Hyatt's goal in a 3-1 loss against Arizona (9/21)... credited with one shot on goal.

2002 SEASON - Played in 11 matches for the Dons, three as a starter...posted three shot attempts on the season.

PREP CAREER - Named First-Team All League captain and MVP senior year... First-Team All-District team co-MVP junior year... was Second Team All-League sophomore and freshman years... received academic All-Conference honors all nine varsity seasons.

PERSONAL - Cameron Hernandez... interests include seeing opera and theaters... my father was a JC State Baseball Champion... after I graduate I plan to teach high school... I chose USF because of the coaching staff and the opportunity to enjoy all the city has to offer... parents are Robert and Denise Hernandez... born August 1, 1984. Hernandez graduated in 2006 with a degree in Psychology. Hernandez is currently living in Visalia, CA where she teaches high school psychology, sport psychology and coaches Track and Field.
