AT SACRAMENTO CITY JUNIOR COLLEGE (2006-07): Went 1-2 with a 2.66 ERA, 20.1 innings and 22 strikeouts in 15 appearances as a sophomore... helped 2007 team win Big 8 Conference Championship.

PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball at Jesuit High School... was an Honorable Mention at the National High School Invitational Tournament his senior year after helping his high school team win the League Championship... also played two years of football.

PERSONAL: Born on August 11, 1987 in Sacramento, CA... son of Greg and Liz Anderson... nickname is 'Iron Jaw'... goal for the season is to compete for a WCC Championship...chose USF for The City, the school, and the great coaches... thinks the best part of being a student athlete is that it teaches great life skills... likes the great food in San Francisco... would like to be Frank Sinatra for a day... the best advice he has ever been given is 'anything you can do, I can do better'... would like to attend the Olympics... favorite musical artist is Led Zeppelin...majoring in sociology.
