Biography: Crookall-Nixon played golf for four years on the Hilltop, and was a First Team All-West Coast Conference selection for three straight years (2014, 2015 and 2016). In his senior season played in all ten events and finished with a team-best stroke average of 72.0, and was the team’s top finisher in six of ten events. He enjoyed three top-10 finishes, including a second place showing at the West Coast Conference Championships at the Blackhawk Country Club in Danville. Crookall-Nixon shot par or better in 17 of his 30 competitive rounds including a 7-under 65 in the final round of the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate. In his junior season he played in 10 of the team’s 11 events and finished with a team-best stroke average of 73.40, and was USF’s top finisher in five events. Crookall-Nixon wrapped up the year by tying for fourth place at the WCC Championships at Saticoy after rounds of 75-77-75 (227).

He played in all 10 events as a sophomore and finished with a stroke average of 73.23, which was the second-lowest on the squad. He enjoyed three top-10 finishes on the year, highlighted by a fourth place showing at the WCC Championships at Gold Mountain in Bremerton, Washington. He turned in his best showing of the spring at the WCC Championships, where he finished fourth with an even-par score of 216 (70-74-72). As a freshman he made an immediate impact on his first season on the Hilltop, and played in 11 of the 12 events and ended the season with a stroke average of 73.88, fourth-best on the squad. Crookall-Nixon enjoyed two top-10 finishes on the year, highlighted by a fourth place showing at the Triumph at Pauma Valley. He made his collegiate debut at the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Spirit Hollow Golf Club in Burlington, Iowa, where he tied for 49th with a 14-over score of 230 (80-72-78). Crookall-Nixon tied for 23rd at the WCC Championships in Bremerton, Washington with a 9-over score of 225 (80-73-72). He ied for t37th at the NCAA Columbus Regional after posting rounds of 77-75-72 (224).
