2002-2003 SEASON (10.7 PPG, 5.0 rpg, 1.6 APG, 1.8SPG):Â Immediately established herself as one of the most dangerous scorers in the West Coast Conference, earning 2002-2003 WCC Freshman of the Year honors... ranked second on the team in scoring... poured in team-high 18 points as USF nearly upset #6 Stanford (11/24/02), going 6-for-9 from the floor, including 5-for-6 from 3-point range... exploded for a career-high 26 points at San Diego (2/22/03), converting on 11-20 from the field...turned in double-double (points/rebounds) at Gonzaga (1/16/03) with12 points and 13 rebounds... scored 20 points and added eight rebounds at Saint Mary's (1/11/03) in WCC opener... reached double-figure scoring in 19 contests... picked up the offense during league play, ranking eighth in scoring (12.8) and seventh in rebounds (6.2)... recorded a career-high with eight steals at Portland (1/18/03) to go along with 12 boards... ranked fourth on the team in field goal percentage at .407 (118-290), ranked second in accuracy from behind the arc at .361 (44-122) and at the charity stripe connecting at a .806 (29-36) clip... led or shared the team lead in scoring seven times... was the second consecutive Don selected as the conference's top frosh.
PREP CAREER:Â Turned in an outstanding career at Seattle Preparatory... named Gatorade Washington State Player of the Year, Washington AAA State Tournament MVP and Metro League MVP following a dominant senior campaign... averaged 18.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, while converting on .390 from 3-point range in final season with the Panthers... also named to the Seattle Time's All-Area Team andAP squads... also won Metro League MVP selection as a junior and was named First Team All-Tournament in the AAA state playoffs...earned Second Team All-Metro honors as a sophomore after Honorable Mention selection as a freshman... honor roll student... named to the Who's Who Among American High School Students.
