GENERAL CAPSULE: Fully recovered from shoulder surgery... versatile perimeter player with excellent shooting range and touch... an excellent passer... runs the floor well and finishes in transition. 

2005-2006 SEASON (0.9 ppg, 0.6 rpg,0.4 apg, 0.1 spg): After recovering from shoulder surgery missed most of the season battling health issues... appeared in eight games... scored season-high five points against Rider (11/25/05)... added season-high three rebounds against Fresno State (12/20/05). 

2004-2005 SEASON: Suffered season-ending shoulder injury in opener at Colorado State (11/19/04)... scored five points. 

AT COLUMBIA BASIN COLLEGE (2003-04): Starting point guard, averaging 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game... NWAAC Honorable Mention selection. 

PREPCAREER: Four-year letter-winner at Kiona-Benton HighSchool... selected to compete in the Washington State All-Star game following her senior campaign with the Bears... two-time Media Classic All-Star... captured second team All-Area honors and was named First Team CWAC-South as a senior... named team MVP as a senior after averaging 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds... Honor Roll student. 

PERSONAL: Amber Grier... goal for the season is to play her best and help the team be successful... chose USF for the coaches, players, the city and the academic reputation of the school... biggest sports thrill was going to the State playoffs for the first time in school history as a freshman...favorite book is Mind Gym; favorite foods are ice cream and frozen yogurt... enjoys horseback riding, listening to music and hanging out with friends in her spare time... parents are Craig and JoniGrier... born March 10, 1985 in Baker City, OR.

She has a great combination of size and skills on the perimeter and that will be a huge asset to our team. I'm extremely excited to have Amber back on the court with us!"
