GENERAL CAPSULE - Looks poised for a solid senior season...fierce competitor... great leader... will come out of the bullpen with an explosive fast ball and a power breaking ball.

At USF (2003): Made 12 relief appearances in first season on the Hilltop ... recorded six strikeouts in 12.1 innings of work.

AT ORANGE COAST (2001-2002) - Made honor roll.

PREP CAREER - Played four years of baseball for the Los Alamitos Griffins, posting a 1.42 ERA his senior season... named to the Sunset League, California All-Star team and pitched in the Sunbelt Classic... honor roll student.

PERSONAL - Gregory Schwenn... goal for the season is to win theWCC... chose USF for the chance to get a great education and be part of an excellent athletic program... if he could be anyone for a day he'd be Billy the Kid... the best advice he could give is to "Keep working hard, you'll get there"... the most impressive person he's met is Joe Montana... wants to play baseball as long as possible... enjoys dirt bike riding and movies... favorite movie isRocky; favorite band is AC/DC... father Rick played baseball for Cal Poly Pomona when it was the National Champion ... parents are Rick and Linda Schwenn... born July 12, 1980 in Vista, CA.
