AT USF 2008-2009: (10.8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.6 SPG):Â Turned in a strong freshman season, appearing in all 30 games with 18 starts... ranked second on the team in scoring (10.8)... ranked No. 3 among West Coast Conference free throw percentage (.833) and scoring (10.2) leaders during league contests... scored a season-high 22 points at San Jose State (12/22/08), converting on 8-of-12 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range... reached double digit scoring in nine of last 12 games, including a 17-point, 9-rebound performance in an overtime victory against Santa Clara (2/21/09)... scored 18 points to go along with a career-high five assists at Loyola Marymount (2/26/09)... shot .500 or better from the field 13 times and shot a career best .667 in three contests... swiped a career-high three steals to go along with 13 points at USC (12/1/08)... made three or more 3-pointers in four games... pulled down five or more rebounds five times... led USF in scoring four times and paced the Dons in rebounding twice and was the top assist man in three contests... earned the inaugural Rod Williams Free Throw Award after leading the Green and Gold at the charity stripe, converting on .742 (95-128).
Kwame Donte Vaughn was born on May 31, 1990 in Oakland, CA and attended Skyline High School, where he played basketball.  He played two seasons at USF, as a 6' 3" guard, and transferred to Cal State Fullerton from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Vaughn signed with Italian Serie A2 club Fortitudo Agrigento and then moved to the Israeli Liga Leumit club Ironi Ramat Gan.
In 2015, Vaughn signed with Belgian club Antwerp Giants, but moved three days later to the Israeli club Ironi Nahariya for the rest of the season. In July 2016, Vaughn joined the Philadelphia 76ers' Summer League squad, and signed with ASVEL Basket of the French LNB Pro A. Later that year, 2016, he moved to the German club Skyliners Frankfurt. Between 2017 and 2018, he played with the Greek club Aris Thessaloniki, the  Serbian club Partizan, and the Croatian club Zadar.
In 2021, Vaughn joined CSU Ploiesti of the Romanian league, but left the team for the Maccabi Haifa from the Israeli Basketball National League. In 2022, he signed with BC Astana of the Kazakhstan Basketball Championship and the VTB United League.
