2014-2015 (SENIOR): First team All-West Coast Conference selection for a second straight year…finished with a stroke average of 73.86 in his 10 events, second-lowest on the team…was the Dons’ top finisher in three events…had three top-10 finishes on the year…opened the season by tying for 19th at the Gopher Invitational at 9-over 221 (74-72-75)…turned in a solid performance at the Saint Mary’s Invitational, where he tied for second at 6-under 210 (71-69-70) on the Bayonet and Black Horse courses in Seaside…his 6-under score was the lowest tournament score by a USF player all season…tied for 11th at Wyoming Southern Dunes after rounds of 74-71-71 left him at 2-over 218 for the event…opened with a solid 4-under 67 at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational but ultimately tied for 35th after following with rounds of 76 and 75…tied for 63rd at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational at 222 (+6) on rounds of 76-71-75…finished at 5-over 221 at the Barona Collegiate Cup (71-80-70)…struggled in his next two events at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (t-77) and Desert Mountain Intercollegiate (t-51)…finished 2-under 214 (71-70-83) and tied for 28th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic…closed out his USF career with fourth place (tie) finish at the WCC Championships at Saticoy Golf Club on rounds of 74-72-81 (227)…was two shots off the lead entering the final round but slipped into a tie for fourth following a final round 81.
 
2013-2014 (JUNIOR): First team All-West Coast Conference selection…played in all 10 events and posted a stroke average of 73.33, which was third-best on the team behind McElyea (72.53) and Crookall-Nixon (73.23)…had three top-10 finished on the year, highlighted by his first collegiate victory at the Cabo del Sol Invitational where he finished with a 4-under score of 212 on rounds of 68-70-74…finished 58th in the first event of the season at the Columbia (Mo.) Regional Preview…opened with an even par 72 and finished with rounds of 79 and 81…tied for 52nd on rounds of 76-75-77 (212; +12) at the Saint Mary’s Invitational held on the Bayonet and Black Horse Courses in Seaside, Calif…led wire-to-wire for his first collegiate victory at the Cabo del Sol Invitational on the Ocean and Desert Courses in Cabo San Lucas…tied for 51st at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational at Sonoma Golf Club…opened with an 81 but regrouped to fire a 5-under 67 later in the afternoon, which was the low round of the Fall…closed with a final round 73 to finish 5-over par at 221…closed out the Fall by tying for 35th at the Warrior-Wave Invitational at Princeville on the island of Kaui…shot rounds of 72-72-70 to finish 2-under at 214…opened the spring season by tying for 17th at The Farms Intercollegiate with a 6-over score of 222 (75-74-73)…tied for 62nd at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at 221 (+5) after rounds of 75-78-68…posted his second top-10 of the year at the Fresno State Classic, where he tied for sixth at 219 (74-75-70)…tied for 34th at The Goodwin held at Stanford Golf Course on rounds of 70-74-71 (215; +5)…tied for second at the WCC Championships in Bremerton, WA….fashioned rounds of 73-72-70 to finish seven strokes off the pace.
 
2012-2013 (SOPHOMORE): Finished with a stroke average of 73.77 in 12 events…enjoyed three top-10 finishes on the year…posted a 73.87 stroke average in five fall events…tied for 6th at the Golfweek Conference Challenge with a 54-hole total of 237 (+21) on rounds of 87-73-77…bounced back with a second place finish at the Saint Mary’s Invitational where he carded a three-under 213 on the challenging Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, CA….finished one stroke behind medalist Ben Geyer of Saint Mary’s…tied for 29th at the William Tucker Invitational with a 224 (+8) on rounds of 75-71-78…posted his second top-20 finish of the Fall at the Notre Dame Gridiron Classic with a six-over 219 (70-77-72) to tie for 15th…closed the Fall by tying for 34th at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational after rounds of 70-73-72 (215)…opened the spring season with a tie for 13th at The Farms Collegiate (72-75-77-221)…shot a 5-over 221 to tie for 26th at the Wyoming Desert Classic (74-74-73)…tied for second at The Triumph at Pauma Valley with a 1-0ver par score of 213 on rounds of 75-68-70…tied for 48th at the Duck Invitational and finished tied for 62nd at the U.S. Intercollegiate at Stanford before bouncing back to finish tied for seventh at the WCC Championships (75-69-73) in Bremerton, WA….tied for 55th at the NCAA Columbus Regional (76-74-78).
 
2011-2012 (FRESHMAN): West Coast Conference Honorable Mention selection…played in 10 events and finished with a stroke average of 73.17, which was the third-lowest mark on the team…posted four top-20 finishes during the spring…tied for 10th place at the WCC Championships at 215 on rounds of 74-70-71…competed in three Fall events…shot even par 216 to tie for 34th in his first event as a collegian at The Prestige at PGA West…shot three-under 210 on rounds of 68-72-70 to finish 28th at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational…tied for 44th at the NCAA West Regional at Stanford Golf Course after rounds of 70-71-74.
 
HIGH SCHOOL AND AMATEUR CAREER: Graduated from Mont St. Michel School in his native Philippines…advanced to sectional qualifying for the 2014 U.S. Open after finishing second at a regional qualifier at Pasatiempo Golf Club…posted a runner-up finish in the 2012 Philippine Amateur Open with a 72-hole score of 290 (70-69-75-75)…won the event in 2011…teamed with Raymundo Gonzalez to capture the first NGAP National Doubles Golf Championship at the AFP Golf Club.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Jobim Antonio S. Carlos…born Nov. 24, 1992 in the Philippines…parents are Alberto and Lucia Victoria Carlos…has two sisters, Andrea and Marlina…home course is the Canlubang Golf and Country Club…lists Cypress Point Golf Club as his favorite course…lists Augusta National as the course he’d most like to play…dream foursome includes Seve Ballesteros, Moe Norman and Bill Murray…lists the late Seve Ballesteros as his favorite golfer…hobbies include jet skiing, playing pool and Airsoft…majoring in advertising.


Following USF: Former USF golfer, Jobim Carlos 2015 secured his 2016 Asian Tour card by virtue of his 15th place finish at the Asian Tour Qualifying School presented by Sports Authority of Thailand held last weekend at the Springfield Royal Country Club in Hua Hin, Thailand.
 
Carlos put together four under par rounds of 69, 68 and a pair of 70s on the weekend to finish well inside the top-40 for the event, earning his card in his first attempt. Only the top-40 and ties gain full exemption onto the Asian Tour for the 2016 season.
 
Yikeun Chang of Korea topped the field with a winning score of 271 (-13), good for a one stroke victory over former Stanford standout Dodge Kemmer.
 
"Getting onto the Asian Tour in my first attempt is almost unbelievable," Carlos told Musong R. Castillo of Inquirer.net.
 
Carlos plans to make his professional debut following next month's Philippine Airlines Interclub Tournament, which is the country's oldest, largest and most prestigious team competitions and is widely acknowledged as the national club championship of the Philippines.
 
Carlos, a four-year standout for the Dons from 2011-15, earned First-Team All-West Coast Conference honors as a junior and senior. He enjoyed ten career top-10 finishes, highlighted by a win at the Cabo de Sol Invitational as a junior.
