Transferred to Northwest University in Kirkland, WA to complete a Bachelors in Nursing. Has been named the Red Lion women's outdoor Track Athlete of the Week in 2017. Engelbrekt, a junior from Seattle, met the 800-meter NAIA 'B' standard for the second meet in a row with a time of 2:15.48 for third place at Saturday's Seattle Pacific Doris Heritage Distance Festival in Seattle. It was the third-best time in the NAIA this season. She was also third in the 5,000-meter run in 18:56.66 against NCAA I, II, and III competition (NWUAthletics).

 2014 CROSS COUNTRY: Did not compete.

2013 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four meets for the Dons as a freshman ... turned in a season-best 5K time of 18:16 at the USF Invitational to open her collegiate career ... took 14th at the USF Invitational on Aug. 31 ... helped USF to a sixth place team finish at the Stanford Invitational on Sept. 28, where ran the course in 22:47 to earn 28th ... ran a season-best 6K of 21:25.3 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 19.

PREP CAREER: Four-year letter winner for cross country and track and field ... placed third in the 800 meters with a personal best of 2:11.98 at the Washington State Track Meet as a senior ... placed fourth in the 4x400 meter relay and took sixth in the 1600 meters finished 14th individually at Washington Cross Country meet during her senior campaign ... as a junior, placed third in both the 1600 and 3200 meters at the state meet ... finished fourth in the 800 and seventh in the state in the 1600 as a sophomore ... holds the school record in the mile ... earned academic First Honors seven semesters. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in Kinesiology ... daughter of Mark and Dianne Engelbrekt ... father is TV Director for the Seattle Mariners ... brother, Max, is a sophomore left-handed pitcher at Oregon State ... born July 17, 1995, in Seattle, WA.
