GENERAL CAPSULE: Versatile player with inside/outside capabilities... returned to the court in the Fall...good perimeter shot out to 3-point range... can defend post players and is a good shot blocker... will challenge for minutes.

2002-2003 SEASON: Missed the entire season with a leg stress fracture.

PREP CAREER: Four-year basketball letter-winner at Long Beach Poly... averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.0 blocks per game during her Jackrabbit career... an excellent student... named National Merit Scholar and was selected to the National Honor Roll... recognized on the Pursuit of Excellence and Who's Who Among American High School Students.

PERSONAL: Aja T. Trotter... goal for the season is to be healthy and contribute as much as possible to the team...chose USF for the conference, the city and the academic support offered in a private university... would like to trade places with LeBron James for a day... best advice to youngsters is to never give up on your dreams... favorite quote is "People don't plan to fail, they fail to plan"... favorite musical artist is Jill Scott; favorite food is honey nut Chex mix... favorite sports hero is Chris Webber... parents are Lennon Trotter and Sonya Noil... born May 20, 1984 in Harbor City, CA.

Trotter studied two years at USF and completed her Bachelors in Psychology at Benedict College, and earned a Doctorate in Psychology at the Wright Institute.  She currently practices as a Clinical Psychologist in Carson, CA.
