2017 (RS JUNIOR):
 Made 13 starts in 14 total appearances on the year… went 2-4 with a 4.63 ERA… pitched primarily in midweek action… struck out 26 batters in 56 1/3 innings of work… picked up his first win of the year in his first outing against Northern Colorado on Feb. 19, striking out a season-high five batters over five innings… allowed just one run on seven hits over a season-high six innings to earn a victory over Cal on Apr. 25… named to the WCC All-Academic First Team.

2016 (RS SOPHOMORE): Missed the season due to Tommy John Surgery. 

2015 (RS FRESHMAN): Named to the WCC All-Freshman Team... named to 2015 Division I College Baseball All-America Team by Jewish Sports Review... named to the WCC Commissioner's Gold Honor Roll... went his first five innings out of the bullpen and allowed one run with six strikeouts... earned his first start at No. 8 Oregon and allowed two runs over 6.1 innings to pick up the 8-2 win... defeated No. 24 California on Mar. 17 by going seven innings and allowing one run... earned first weekend start on April 4 against Santa Clara and scattered five hits over a complete game shutout of the Broncos... finished the season with a 2.28 ERA, second on the team... named to the USF Dean's Honor Roll for the second-straight year.

2014 SUMMER: Pitched for the Brockton Rox and allowed 17 hits over 29 innings for a 1.55 ERA.

2014 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted... named USF RBI Volunteer of the Year 2014... represented USF at the San Francisco RBI All-Star Hall of Fame Dinner.

HIGH SCHOOL: Granoff was lights out on the mound for Naples High School (Naples, Fla.). In his junior year, he threw 72 innings and held a 1.25 ERA but this was bested by what he did the following season. He finished with a 0.84 ERA in his senior season after allowing three earned runs in 25 innings. Granoff was named All-Area, All-Conference, and All-City Pitcher of the Year. On Apr. 5, 2012, he threw a complete game against Lexington Catholic, the No. 1 ranked team in the Midwest by Perfect Game, and took the 7-2 win. He wrapped up his high school career by graduating cum laude with a 4.30 GPA. Granoff then kept busy over the summer and played for the California Warriors in the Far West League and recorded a 2.05 ERA in 35 innings.

PERSONAL: Sam is the only child of Jim and Kathy Granoff. He enjoys playing the drums, guitar and ukulele and was a drummer in the Naples High Jazz Band. His grandfather, Joel, played football for Clemson University.
