Why Powell Chose USF: "I chose USF because of the atmosphere, and how nice and friendly everyone was. Also because of Coach Goodenbour. I knew she would push me until I had no breaking point and that’s exactly what she did."

Favorite USF Memories: I loved all my teammates from my junior year to my senior year. They made my time at USF so memorable. My coaches shaped me into the person I am today, mentally and physically. I’m glad I went to USF because of them. I’ll never forget the friendships I made and I know they will last for the rest of my life."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "The best thing is the friendships you make and the places you’ll go. I was able to travel to Italy and I have friends in almost every country now."

Life After USF: Powell played professional basketball during the 2019-2020 season for Alexandria in the Romanian league where she averaged 24 points a game and shot 36% from three-point range.
