Biography: Green was on the track and field team for three years. She still runs and participates in half-marathons and marathons and currently works in the hospitality industry.

Why Green Chose USF: "The awesome atmosphere and friendliness of everyone I met when I went up for my visit at USF was contagious, and I instantly knew that this was the place I wanted to excel and grow for the next four years."

Favorite USF Memories: "I loved having a team at USF because everywhere you go around campus, you always know someone. Seeing a friendly face in the crowd, waking up at 5:00 am for early morning practice runs or weight training, or being together during study hall hours, my teammates' friendships meant more to me than they'll ever know."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "The best thing about being a student-athlete was the support system of coaches, assistants, directors and friends. There is always someone you can talk to about anything, and if you need help whether it be about athletics or school, there is always a helping hand or words of advice to help you make the best decision."

Life After USF: Green is now married to her best friend (they met in college at USF) and are having a baby boy this August. They live in San Diego and both work for the same hospitality management company, Evolution Hospitality. Green still runs and has run a marathon and half marathon every year for the last five years since graduation. She feels  so grateful that she had the opportunity to continue her running career at USF.
