2017 (JUNIOR): Appeared in four games off the bench in his first season on the Hilltop… had a total of three at bats.

PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Played the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Allen Community College... hit at a .378 clip with three home runs and six RBI his sophomore year... drove in seven runs in 12 games as a freshman... earned Academic All-America honors in both his freshman and sophomore years... also played for the Puerto Rican Collegiate National Team during the summer of 2014.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner for head coach Shawn Newkirk at Union High School... named Offensive Player of the Year and the Tulsa World Player of Oklahoma as a senior... started every game of his junior and senior seasons... two-time All-Academic Honoree... nominated for the All-Metro squad.  

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 29, 1995 in Merida, Venezuela... parents are Luis and Yesenia Gomez... majoring in Finance... aspires to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree and work at his father’s company... made his high school's Honor Roll... father played college basketball at the University of Los Andes in Venezuela... enjoys playing other sports, video games, and hanging out with friends.
