Josien Scheepens is a native of Overveen, Netherlands, and attended Stedelijk Gymnasium Haarlem High School.  She attended USF on an athletic scholarship and earned a Masters in Behavioral Science in 2020. She earned a second Masters in Medicine in 2023, and is now a PhD candidate at Leiden University in Neuro-Oncology. She ran Collegiate Track and Cross-Country at USF.
