2016-2017 (SENIOR): Concluded his eligibility by competing in three fall events…carded a stroke average of 72.2…was the Dons top finisher in each of the first two events of the year…tied for 12th at the Olympic Invitational at 217 (+4) on rounds of 74-67-76…his second round 67 tied for the fifth-lowest round by a Don all season…tied for 35th at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational at 212 (-1) on rounds of 71-68-73…finished his collegiate career at the Princeville Invitational where he tied for 46th at 221 (+5) on rounds of 75-72-74.

2015-2016 (JUNIOR): Played in six of the team’s 10 events and finished with a stroke average of 74.7…saw action in just one fall event but was a fixture in the lineup for all six spring tournaments…shot six rounds of par or better on the year…tied for 27th in the first spring event at the LMU Invitational…opened with a 80 but bounced back with rounds of 73 and 70 for a 7-over 223 finish…tied for 12th at The Farms Intercollegiate at 5-over 221 on rounds of 77-72-72…carded rounds of 78-75-72 to finish 47th at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate with a 9-over score of 225…tied for 75th at The Goodwin with an 11-over score of 221…tied for 66th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic and tied for 35th at the WCC Championships.

2014-2015 (SOPHOMORE): Played in two events during his first year on the Hilltop after transferring from Colorado…finished 72nd at the Barona Collegiate Cup (76-80-75-231) and tied for 51st at Desert Mountain (79-77-79-235).

AT COLORADO: Did not see tournament action as a freshman in 2012-2013…played in two events as a redshirt freshman in 2013-2014…finished 17th in his collegiate debut at the Mark Simpson Invitational…shot an opening round 82 but bounced back with rounds of 70 and 71 to finish at 223 (+7)…tied for 100th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate with a 12-over score of 228 in his only appearance of the spring.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Carmel High School…played for Rob Hayes and Ross Kroeker…four-time, First-Team All-Mission Trail League performer…was selected as the league’s Most Valuable Player as a freshman and senior…three-time team MVP…tied for first as a senior in the Northern California Boys’ Championship State Qualifier with a 4-under score of 68…tied for 12th at the California State Championships held at the San Gabriel Country Club after shooting a 2-over 73…averaged just over 35 strokes per nine holes as a senior, 36 as a junior, 37 as a sophomore and 35 as a freshman…placed 32nd in the Northern California Boys’ Championship as a freshman with a 4-over score of 76…finished 20th at the state championships after carding a 5-over 77 to held the Padres to a sixth place finish.
 
AMATEUR CAREER: Shot a 69 at the 2013 U.S. Open Local Qualifying to advance to Sectionals in Seattle…tied for 121st at the 2013 Southwest Amateur (85-74-159)…posted a pair of top-10 finishes on the California state amateur circuit in 2011, tying for fifth at the Palo Alto City Amateur (72-69-141) and seventh at the Salinas Valley Amateur (73-69-142)…was the runner-up at the 2010 Future Collegian World Tour stop at Coyote Creek Golf Course in San Jose (73-68-141)…placed fourth at the 2010 American Junior Golf Association’s Midwest Junior Players Championship (71-69-72-212)...won two amateur events in 2009…captured the NCGA’s Pajaro Valley Classic Fall Championship (69-73-142) and the AJGA’s Mexican Golf Federation Junior Open (73-72-71-216)…won the AJGA’s 2008 Junior All-Star event in Lubbock, Texas as a 15-year old (70-70-70-210).
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Kraig McLeod…born July 4, 1993 in Kirkland, WA.…parents are Kraig and Ann Marie McLeod…has one brother (Evan) and a sister (Lauren)… father played college tennis at the University of Puget Sound…brother plays golf at Santa Clara and sister played tennis at UC Santa Barbara…home course is the Nicklaus Club in Monterey…lists Cypress Point as his favorite golf course…lists Augusta National as the course he’d most like to play…dream foursome includes his brother Evan, Ryan Moore and Jason Dufner…hobbies include traveling, skateboarding, snowboarding and poetry.
