2010: Made six starts among seven appearances in his first season at Milwaukee ... posted a 1.36 goals against average and made 27 saves ... was 10th in the Horizon League in saves and ninth in GAA ... made first start of the season against IPFW Sept. 14, making six saves in a tough, 1-0, loss ... season-high seven saves against San Diego State in a 1-1 draw Sept. 19 ... was in goal for the win over Valparaiso Sept. 24, making two saves in the 2-1 overtime win ... played the final 65 minutes of a 1-1 tie against #22 Michigan State Nov. 6.

Prior to UWM: Spent three seasons at the University of San Francisco from 2007-2010... redshirted as a freshman in 2007 and was injured in 2008 ... played 35 minutes against Portland in 2009, making five saves ... also was in net for an exhibition game against the San Jose Earthquakes of the MLS.

Marquette: Earned Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Goalkeeper of the Year honors after posting six shutouts and allowing just seven goals as a senior ... was named first team all-state by the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association and to the First Team Greater Metro All-Conference squad ... helped lead the team to state quarterfinals his final year and to a state title as a junior ... that year, he posted a 0.77 GAA ... twice named to the Great Midwest Classic All-Tournament Team ... received the English Award in the classroom, recognizing excellence in writing and composition.

Personal: Son of Dr. Bruce and Susan Boyd ... born May 24, 1989 ... brother, Robbie, is also a member of the UWM roster ... majoring in Broadcast Journalism ... chose UWM because the timing seemed right, the tradition of the program and the chance to play with his brother ... also played for the FC Milwaukee Nationals and was a five-year starter for the Wisconsin State Olympic Development Program team (University of Milwaukee at Wisconsin Athletics).
