GENERAL CAPSULE - Very tough for her size...didn't receive a lot of minutes last season...made a lot of progress this spring... will not back down from any opponent.

PREP CAREER - Played four years of soccer for Crescent Valley High School... named Second-Team All League her senior year... also played basketball for three years

PERSONAL - Claire Shuft... the best thing about being a student-athlete is meeting new people... chose USF for the campus and the city... after I graduate I plan to travel the world... the thing I love about San Francisco is the diversity...the best advice I can give to young people is don't be controlled by fear... favorite movie is The Labyrinth... favorite book is Harry Potter... favorite food is phad Thai... parents are Michael and Elizabeth Schuft... born August 5, 1984.
