GENERAL CAPSULE: Strong, low block player with good knowledge of the game and good skills. She graduated with a Degree in Finance.

AT USF (2003-2004): Played in seven games... scored two points at Santa Clara (1/22/04) and Pepperdine (2/28/04).   

AT SPOKANE FALLS CC: Played one year at Spokane Falls Community College... averaged 7.7points 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for the Sasquatch during the 2002-2003 season. 

PREP CAREER: Competed at Mead High School. 

PERSONAL: Kourtney Shorts...goal for the season is to not only make it to the NCAA Tournament, but to win there... chose USF for the great academic programs...sister KeLicia, is a sophomore on the USF Volleyball team...favorite quote is "Love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching and live every day like it's the last"... enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and shopping... parents are Dan and Jennifer Shorts... born Feb. 7, 1983 in Spokane, WA.

STRAIGHT FROM THE USF COACHING STAFF: Kourtney is one of our hardest workers and is a pleasure to coach. She is always there supporting her teammates and is one of our leaders on and off the floor. Her work ethic and desire to improve are intangibles that Kourtney brings to this team every day.
