GENERAL CAPSULE: Solid post player who can play a variety of positions... will be counted on to score inside and outside... expected to rebound at both ends of the floor... has an exceptional understanding of the game... possesses a unique combination of quickness and strength. 

2005-2006 SEASON(8.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.1 spg): Turned in a solid junior season for the Dons, appearing in 25 games with 19 starts, ranked second on the team in scoring (8.5) and field goal percentage (.466) and led the squad in rebounding (.466)... ranked among West Coast Conference leaders in field goal percentage (sixth), offensive rebounds (fifth, 2.4) and overall rebounds (eighth)... scored career-high 21 points against Loyola Marymount (1/8/06), going 9-for-14 from the field, to go along with four assists and nine rebounds... led the Dons with three double-double performances, scoring 14 points and a season-high 11 reboundsagainst Rider (11/25/05), 10 points and 10 boards against Nevada (12/31/05) and enjoyed an 18-point, 10 rebound night against Pepperdine (1/6/06) in the 2006 WCC opener... poured in 13 points while going 7-of-10 from the free throw line against Hawaii (12/8/05)... converted on a season-best 7-for-11 from the floor against the Broncs in the opening round of the Odwalla Classic... dished out season-high four assists four times...grabbed season-high seven offensive rebounds in addition to 18 points against Pepperdine (1/6/06)... named to the Subway Invitational (Minnesota) and Odwalla Classic All-Tournament teams... reached double-digit scoring 10 times in first season in the Green and Gold and pulled down 10 or more rebounds four times.

AT BOSTON COLLEGE (2003-2004): Played in 29 games, including 13 Big East games... averaged 1.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game... posted a season-high seven points against Saint John's (2/25/04)... pulled down a career-high seven rebounds against Liberty (12/6/03)... a Big East Academic All-Star. 

AT BOSTON COLLEGE (2002-2003): Played in eight games as a freshman for the Eagles. 

PREP CAREER: Four-year letter-winner at Marin Catholic High School... averaged 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as a senior... won a Division 4 state championship as a senior... three-time All-League and All-Metro player... nominated for the McDonald's High School All-America team... two-time winner of the team's Coaches Award... team's captain during her senior year... earned the team's Best Defense Award as a junior... also a Second Team All-League player in volleyball... graduated high school with academic distinction...recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award... a high honor roll student... four-time member of the California Scholarship Federation... four-year Dean's List student.

PERSONAL: Nicole Socorro Maria Warren... goal for the season is to improve her skills and win... chose USF because she loves San Francisco and likes being close to home... best advice ever given is "can't" is a word that should never be in your vocabulary... favorite quote is by Henry Ford, "If you believe you can or you can't you're right"... favorite movie is The Last Samurai... biggest sports thrill was beating UConn in Big East Championship while at BC... parents are Steven and Nancy Warren...born November 28, 1984 in Greenbrae, CA. 

STRAIGHT FROM TANYA HAAVE: "Nickie has embraced a leadership role for us thus far and I will be looking for her to continue in that role throughout the season. Being a part of two NCAA Tournament teams during her tenure at Boston College gives us invaluable experience for our players to build on in our quest for postseason play!"
