Biography: Mahood was a part of the baseball program for five years on the Hilltop. After sitting out the 2009 season as a redshirt he made his USF debut in 2010, playing in 49 games and started 39, hitting.274 with 19 RBI, 16 walks. As a sophomore in 2011, he started all 56 games for the Dons at second base and totaled a .992 fielding percentage. Mahood was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week during the final week of the regular season after his clutch play at Gonzaga where he hit .600 and totaled four RBIs, four runs, a home run, a walk and a sacrifice hit. In 2012, as a junior, he ranked ninth in the nation in sacrifice hits with 18. Mahood finished a stellar junior campaign with .284 batting average, 13 doubles, one triple, one home run, and 28 RBIs. In his final season on the Hilltop as a senior, he played in all 59 games hitting .270 with 18 RBIs, 12 doubles and 41 runs scored.Â

Life After USF: Mahood stayed on the Hilltop and earned his Master's Degree in Sport Management in 2014. He is currently working as a project manager for Marsh GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany.Â
