Europe Experience: A member of the Czech Republic U-20 National Team...spent the 2008-09 season competing for the Canarias Basketball Academy, which toured internationally throughout Europe and the United States...averaged 12.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 2.9 assists per contest for the CBA...averaged 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game at the 2008 European U-20 Championships.

Personal: Tomas is a Business Major...the place he most wants to visit is South Korea...his favorite pre-game ritual is listening to KORN.

(San Francisco) – Freshman center Tomas Bruha (Prague, Czech Republic) has elected to leave the men's basketball program at the University of San Francisco as announced today by head coach Rex Walters.

"Tomas has decided that he would like to pursue other opportunities as a Student-Athlete," Walters said. "We fully support him on this and wish him nothing but the best of luck in the future."

Bruha appeared in 25 games with 17 starts and averaged 2.2 points, 1.9 rebounds while playing 12.0 minutes per game. Bruha scored eight points to go along with six rebounds at Pepperdine (1/16/10), establishing career-highs in both categories.
