Biography: Padilla played soccer for four years on the Hilltop. He came to USF from St. Anthony High School and burst onto the scene and paid immediate dividends for the Dons as he played and started in 17 games on the back line. During his sophomore and junior seasons he appeared in 33 matches making 31 starts. He started and appeared in 18 games as a senior in 2017 and earned All-WCC honorable mention honors. Padilla notched seven assists from his right-back position as a senior, and his season high two assists came against Butler in September. Against Louisville in the NCAA Tournament, he assisted the goal that brought the game level at 2-2. After graduating from USF Padilla played professional soccer.

Why Padilla Chose USF: "USF felt like a small family rather than a big family who was distant from each other. It made me feel right at home."

Favorite USF Memories: “We beat Stanford in 2017 when they had just won the NCAA title the year before. They were ranked #1 in the country, and would go on to win the title again after we beat them. I have great memories at USF - I was the joker of the team off the field but on the field I was all business."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: “Being able to represent USF at the highest levels. I liked being able to leave school, and travel for road games.”

Life After USF: After his senior year Padilla was selected 89th overall in in the Major League Soccer Super Draft by the Houston Dynamo. He played there for one year. The past two years Padilla has been playing at New Mexico United which is a second division team in America.
