Biography: Taylor was a long distance runner who competed in both cross country and track and field. She came to USF from Englans where she finished sixth individually and help Great Britain to the team title at the 2017 Senior European Cross Country Championships in Samorin, Slovakia. When she first arrived on the Hilltop, Taylor was named to the All-West Coast Conference team after taking 8th place at the WCC Championships, finishing with a time of 21:22.8. In the 2016 track and field season, she was an NCAA Championships finalist in the 10,000 meters, taking 17th place.
During the 2017 Cross County season, Taylor was a USF All-American, and competed in five meets of the season for the Dons, helping USF attain a sixth place finish at the NCAA Championships. She followed that up in the Spring in track and field as was the 10,000 meter NCAA Champion, the first female national champion in school history. She finished off her USF career as a senior as a First-Team All-American in the 10,000 meters, finishing fifth at the NCAA Finals. Taylor was a Second-Team All-American in the 5,000 meters, racing to an 11th place finish.
Life After USF: Taylor earned her Masters Degree in International and Developmental Economics at USF. She is currently a policy analyst and research advisor to Professor Stern at Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment.
