2012 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four meets for the Dons...was the 3rd fastest runner twice for USF, running a 22:53 at the San Francisco State Invitational 6k (9/14) and an 18:44.51 at the Bronco Invitational 5k as the Green and Gold captured 1st place overall (10/13).

2012 TRACK & FIELD: Set a personal best time of 5:03.02 in the 1500m at the Cal All-Comers Meet.

2011 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran three races for the Dons… placed eighth at the Bronco Invitational in 18:48 (5k)... finished 12th at the San Francisco State Gator Invitational in 22:54 (6k).

PREP CAREER: Two-time California State Meet cross country qualifier… finished 40th in 18:37 at the California State Cross Country Championships in 2010… placed 47th at Footlocker West Regional... Southwestern League Champion in the 1600m and 3200m as a sophomore... personal bests include: 5:17 (1600m), 11:57.81(3200m) and 18:10 (cross country 5000m). Attended Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, CA. 

PERSONAL: Brooke Danielle McCandless… daughter of Anna McCandless… born in July of 1993… chose USF because she loves the school and the city… goal is to make the travel squad… interests include playing the piano… has two siblings, Carey and Morgan… major is Sociology.
